At MIJPLS, we believe that scientific publishing is not just about disseminating data — it is about upholding the integrity of knowledge. Every manuscript we publish undergoes a rigorous and transparent evaluation process aligned with COPE, ICMJE, and Elsevier Ethical Guidelines.
Core Ethical Principles
- Originality Assurance
- Manuscripts must represent authentic, unpublished work that is not under review
- Upon acceptance, the copyright belongs to MIJPLS, while authors retain their intellectual and moral rights.
- Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism
- All submissions are verified using AI-assisted plagiarism detection systems (Turnitin / iThenticate).
- A similarity index above 15% (excluding references) may result in rejection or resubmission.
- Authorship Transparency
- Each listed author must have contributed significantly to the study’s design, execution, or interpretation.
- The Corresponding Author bears responsibility for communication and post-publication corrections, if required.
- Data Integrity and Availability
- Authors should preserve their raw data and provide it to the editorial board if verification is needed.
- MIJPLS encourages data sharing for reproducibility and transparency.
- Ethical Approval
- Human studies must mention Ethical Committee Approval No. and Informed Consent.
- Animal studies must comply with CPCSEA / OECD or equivalent international standards.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- All financial or personal relationships that could influence research must be disclosed both in the Cover Letter and Manuscript Declaration Section.

III. Abstract, Keywords, and Visual Data
- Abstract: 250 words max structured with Background, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
- Keywords: 3–6 precise scientific terms to enhance search indexing.
- Figures/Tables: Clear, high-resolution (≥300 dpi) with legends.
- Graphical Abstracts (Optional): Encouraged for high-impact research; may include molecular, pharmacological, or pathway diagrams.
IV. Review and Publication Workflow
MIJPLS follows a Hybrid Peer Review Model combining expert evaluation with AI-supported screening for accuracy and research novelty.
Stepwise Process:
- Preliminary Screening: Ethical compliance, plagiarism, and formatting check.
- Double-Blind Peer Review: Two domain experts evaluate for novelty and methodology.
- Editorial Decision: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject.
- Post-acceptance Proofing: Final layout and reference validation before online publication.
Average processing time: 3–4 weeks from submission to publication.
V. Article Processing Charges (APC)
MIJPLS is an Open Access, High-Visibility Journal all accepted articles are permanently available online without subscription barriers.
To sustain high-quality peer review and digital archiving, the following Article Processing Charges (APC) apply after acceptance only:
